Aamir's show "satyamev jayate" highlights bout social issuds such as female foeticide, child sexual abuse, dowry and others. He's had his detractors, and some people say that the show is not entirely selfless(he earns a recore settin 3 crores per episode).
But satyamev jayate has shed light on important issues certainly made an impact . The show promoted government action on handicapped children, encouraged health minister to march.

Sharukh khan was the first indian to feature on time magazine, later aishwarya rai, praveen babi wer featured. Aamir is 4th indian to get featured on the time magazine.
